Consistent mortgage rates over the past month keep the conforming 30 year fixed rate at 3.125 and the 30 year jumbo mortgage rate at 2.875. A big change in listings over the past week in Santa Barbara as 61 new listings appear on the market, 17 coming soon listings, 36 homes were closed on, and 33 homes went into escrow. As buying prices rise, demand goes down. People are waiting to make a big home purchase.
