David reports on interest rates, which went up slightly to 3.375 for conforming 30-year fixed loans and to 3.125 for non-conforming jumbo loans. Last week in Santa Barbara, there were more listings than pendings and a number of sellers dropped their prices after being listed for only about a week. (David surmised it may have been because they were overpriced to begin with–and not based on comparables.)
